INTRODUCTION: Internationally, cervical cancer has been regarded as the third most common form of among women after breast and colorectal cancer. However, it is considered one preventable cancers. Research evidence suggested that infection with human papilloma virus (HPV) significantly increases relative risk for developing Papanicolaou cytological testing (Pap smear) permits lesions to be detected before they become cancerous, effectively reducing incidence by 75% - 90%. The thirteenth frequent in Saudi although health facilities vaccination are available can early. aim this study was determine knowledge, attitudes practices regarding screening Qassim. METHODS: In cross-sectional study, we recruited 85 Women attending 3 Primary Health Care centers which had randomly selected simple random sampling from a list 4 Ar Rass city during October 2022. respondents filled structured questionnaire giving informed consent. data entered Excel analyzed EpiInfo7 statistical software. RESULTS: prevalence Qassim region probably low 91% participants did not have any relatives diagnosed About 24% female good knowledge about knew probability detecting Pap smear test symptoms appear. over 56% never heard 48% smear. Only 14% at least once 82% claimed done if were told procedure painless simple. CONCLUSION: practice inadequate women, particularly less than 30 years age, recently married, education level. positive attitude towards services need reassurances reduce barriers having test. There create awareness programs educate early diagnosis treatment.
